# Doris

Doris is for organisations that have outgrown the spreadsheet, the shared
calendar or the group chat, but don't need — and can't afford — enterprise
software. It does one thing well: lets your people see what's free and book
it, without clashes.

## Pricing
- Diary — £200/year or £20/month — a plain, excellent room booking system
- Diary & Billing — £400/year or £40/month — everything Doris does, plus the
  money side: per-room pricing, invoicing and statements, card payment
  collection through the organisation's own Stripe account, member categories,
  chargeable extras, analytics, webhooks and MCP
- Both plans include 100 rooms and 500 members (soft limits)
- All prices exclude VAT, added at checkout
- Annual billing saves two months (£40 / £80)

- Checkout via Paddle (Merchant of Record) applies the correct tax per jurisdiction

## Free trial
- Up to 28 days, no credit card required
- 14 days on signup, +7 on completing setup, +7 when 5 members are added
- Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the billing period

## Data & privacy
- For each member, Doris stores only an email address and a display name
- It never holds data about the clients or customers your organisation serves

- Authentication via Clerk
- Billing via Paddle (Merchant of Record — VAT handled across 200+ markets)
- Delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA)
- Model Context Protocol (MCP): a remote MCP server lets AI assistants
  (Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client) read an organisation's bookings,
  rooms and statements under the signed-in user's own role and consent —
